Description
Long and low to the ground, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi has erect ears, very short legs and a water-resistant double coat. Corgis were traditionally used as cattle drivers, vermin hunters and farm guards.
Characteristics
Very smart, obedient, willing to please and loving, this breed can be wary of strangers. It's good with other animals.
Health problems
This breed can be prone to PRA, glaucoma and back disorders. It can put on weight very easily so don't overfeed it.
Exercise
A Cardigan must get a lot of regular exercise.
Grooming
Brush the coat regularly. This breeds sheds twice a year.
Living Environment
Apartment living is fine if it gets enough exercise.
